Manifestation- the topic has been trending on almost every social site- Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and everywhere. But, I am sure that alot of people also must be new to this topic.
But, amidst the buzz about this topic, we are often left confused on how to actually make the most out of it.
Here are 5 beginner friendly manifestation techniques to start your manifestation journey today.
Visualization:
Creating mental images of goals. In visualization, one imagines or say, visualizes his or her desires as if they have already achieved it. For example, if you are manifesting a beautiful apartment in a specific location, then you must visualize yourself living in that apartment everyday for a few minutes. Like, imagine yourself living that reality, waking up into the room of that apartment, how does that room look like? Does it have minimal decor or funky one? Does it have windows? Then imagine going to the bathroom, with pastel tones or however you like it.
Basically, imagine your day living in that apartment, as if you already have it. Be as specific as you can be about the number of rooms in the house, furniture of each room, the theme, the designing of the verandah, the surroundings, everything. This allows your subconscious mind to align your goals with your reality. Visualizing what you want, allows you to work for it with an even more enthusiastic and motivated approach. But be careful, manifestation is no magic. You have to work in order to meet your reality, manifestation just fastens the process.
Affirmations:
Reprogramming the mind with positive statements. The word “Affirmations”, primarily comes from the word “Affirm” which according to google, is similar to ‘assert’ which means to state something or a statment in general. So, a statement is what ‘is’. A statement means something that already ‘is’ and there is no argument about it. So affirmations are a bunch of statements that are written in an affirming tone, to align our thoughts and reality.
Example, if your wish is to have a dream home, the affirmation can go like:
“Thank you universe, I am so grateful that I am living in a 3 BHK apartment, which is on the 1st floor, all the rooms are spacious and the surroundings are clean and safe.”
“Everyday, opportunities are coming my way to bring my dream home closer to me”.
“I am grateful to live in my dream house, that has ………” etc.
Journaling:
Scripting your desired reality. Scripting is a great way to manifest. When we script, we predominantly write our desires in the form of present tense. This way, we allow our brain to re-wire itself. Scripting is of multiple types, like a letter to the universe, a gratitude note and journal scripting. Using the same example, the affirmations can be written in the gratitude journal, feeling the energy of the desire as if you have it. Please note that doubt has no place in manifestation.
While manifesting, one shall be completely in the process, how do you feel inside the new house? The level of happiness shall be felt while scripting, affirming or visualizing. The intention matters more in manifestation. Because manifestation works by aligning your energy to your thoughts, if you are thinking about your new house but is not feeling the happiness of the same, that might be an obstacle in your progress.
Vision Boards:
Turning goals into visuals. Creating a vision board is another great technique for manifestation. This is a great technique for those who are attracted to aesthetics or require visuals to imagine better. A vision board is a board on which you put pictures of your goals, desires or visions, accompanied by pictures of quotes and affirmations.
Vision board can be made digitally on apps like canva and one can put it on the phone or the laptop screen wallpaper. For someone who needs a hard copy, can get the printout for the same and paste it somewhere in there room where they get to see it daily. Look at the board, and feel that all these images are your reality, you’d feel the flutter of happiness, and then let go. Manifestation is slowed down by stagnant energy, so don’t get stuck by constantly thinking about the results, rather, do your best, give your best and move with the flow.
Gratitude Practice:
Raising vibration by focusing on abundance. We often have heard this saying that “what you focus on, expands”. This statement is true, because that is what the gratitude practice has to say. We end up focusing so much on what we dont have that we forget to thank god enough for what we have.
Okay, i’ll ask you a few questions now,
Do you have water to drink?
Do you have an almirah or cupboard full of clothes?
Are you a school or college student?
Did you get education?
Do you eat food everyday?
Do you have to go to bed on an empty stomach?
Do you have a roof to live under, that protects you from the heat of the summer, the cold of the winter and the harsh climate during rain?
Do you curl yourself up into a blanket during cold? Or turn your fan, cooler or AC on during summers?
Do you have internet connection? And since you are reading this article, I am assuming you have it!
If your answer to more than 80 percent of these questions are yes, then my love you are missing out on how priviledged you are. Do we forget that somewhere, a little child slept in the cold, on an empty stomach? Or a girl somewhere, is making the ends meet to get a little food?
We’re so privileged, and yet we don’t thank the universe enough for it? So, practice gratitude every second, every minute, every hour, and every day. Don’t forget to say thank you every time, even a little blessing is showered upon you. For the food, the body, the work, the house and everything that you have, be grateful. A massive, or to be more precise, more than 80 per cent of the manifestation’s foundation is gratitude.
