The glowing skin routine that you are trying to find everywhere on the internet- is here,
Are you looking for the perfect guide to put a full stop to all your questions about glowing skin?
Or using costly skincare and your skin still doesn’t glow?
Do you still buy the so-called hyped products and only end up realizing that your money got wasted?
Well, your search stops here.
As we dive further, I hope you are already aware of how important role the diet plays in our skincare and health. We’ve been witnessing ‘healthy-diet challenges’ all over social media apps or ‘challenges’ that people undertake to make an overall change in their lifestyle.
So, first make sure that your diet is full of Fibre, Protein and whole foods.
1. Diet

What to consume?
Fruits, vegetables, green tea, warm water, salads. Now this doesn’t mean that you can only consume that, but try to inculcate these more in your diet. For instance, while making pasta, instead of using packaged sauces and artificial flavours, go for simple spices that are available at home. Instead of adding a lotof pasta, double up the quantity of vegetables. Add onion, capsicum, broccoli, tomatoes, corn and many other vegetables. This would give your pasta a punch of natural flavours, along with a reduction in the bad impact of pasta, without compromising your satisfaction and cravings.
What to avoid?
Sugar, at all costs. Sugar is not just a culprit, but an ingredient that will wash your life away. Avoid packages of biscuits, chocolates, ice-creams, drinks, sweeteners etc. These foods are highly inflammatory and can cause acne and other skin conditions like dull face, eye bags and swollen face. Avoid bread and other packaged foods as well. But, you can always have a cheat meal. Set limits. Have a cheat meal once in ten days. If it’s necessary, you can go for 2–3 cheat meals every 10 days, but as I said, it should be a cheat meal and not a cheat day.
2. The Golden Milk

The golden milk is- Turmeric Milk. While you might have heard this somewhere else as well, let me just repeat. It is extremely beneficial, not only for your skin but overall body. Take a cup of milk and heat it, add a little turmeric, cinnamon and a pinch of black pepper. Boil it up and pour in your cup. Add a table spoon of ghee and enjoy your golden milk that will give your the golden hour effect haha. Drink this before going to bed every night and watch the magic. (I might make a long post on the benefits of the golden milk, do let me know).
3. Skincare

Less is more. I repeat, LESS IS MORE, when it comes to skincare. I remember the harm too many skincare products did to my skin. My skin barrier was damaged, as I would aggressively use one active after another and stress over the no improvement. I cut down my skincare products for a week and washed my face with only water. Then slowly introduced a non-active gentle cleanser. I started using cleanser only once every 3–4 days, at night, and since then, I have never looked back.
It allowed my skin to heal and breathe. I would moisturize with a hydrating moisturizer afterwards and that’s it. Occasionally use serums, packs or masks when needed. My skin has been thanking me since.
4. Move your body

It is the most important. Workout, Yoga, Pilates. Whatever suits you, start moving your body. Exercising increases the blood flow into the body which allows it to reach your face giving it a dewy, plump and pinkish glow. And the sweat releases all the toxins, cleaning your skin and accelerating cell repair.
I recommend you to follow these steps for atleast 2 weeks, and there’s no going back from it.
Lots of love,
Thank you for reading.
